At Durants School the voice of the children is important and so we have a School Council. The School Council is made up of one representative from each class who has been voted by their classmates. Their aim is to represent all pupils with a view to positive change.

The School Council usually meets monthly to discuss a range of topics, such as making improvements to our school and planning forthcoming events. They help everyone to make decisions to make the school better and also help to look after the school and the equipment in it.  After each meeting, School Council representatives give feedback to their classmates about what was discussed.
